Wow...didn't really mean it when I said I'd be back next year, but it's actually been slightly longer, hasn't it?
Well...in the past year, I've been virtually absent from the SimCity/Cities XL scene. A few posts here and there, and lots of lurking (especially on [Marathon] and [3RR]), but other than that, I've been out of the loop. I haven't downloaded anything from any exchange in ages (I don't even think I have the updated NAM), and I definitely haven't kept up with updates on CXL. More ashamedly, though, is that I haven't been doing my part with the ST CXL Forums for which I am a moderator. Oh, I've been around, but I only take action when it so happens I spot something while lurking (which isn't often). I think I owe GlobeXCo, ABCVS and LivinInSim an apology for that, actually. I do sincerely apologize that I haven't been doing all that I can to keep everything in order.
But that's what this post is for. I'm going to make an effort to get back into the swing of things on ST (TRY being the operative word, there). I've made efforts in the past that have failed (see last post), but I think it's because I didn't have anything directly tied to the community. What I'm going to do this time is start a city journal on ST. A very simple one, mind you--pretty much just me posting pictures and explaining things about them (I had one exactly like this on the old SimCity Mild Enthusiasm forum that I actually enjoyed posting to). I haven't played SimCity or CXL all that much at all in the past year or so, and to tell the truth, that might not change...but maybe I can at least get back into the community (and finally start doing my part there). Here's hoping....

why wouldn't you play again?
I'm actually hoping I will, to tell the truth...but I'm just not promising anything. I've got so much that I want to do with the game, but I can't get myself motivated to play it. We'll see if having this CJ (where I post mostly old stuff) will help me get in the mood.
You know I would like to askyou how can I customise the buildings of Maxis so I can manualy set styles of construction, for example, I am Mexican and I would like to make a mexican town with LBT mexican houses, I have the Pluggins, but they are nos plopable only growable, so how can I do to block the grow of maxis buildings and french and Italian, and jsut let mexican houses to grow?.
